













POH+W Architects designed the new manufacturing facility for Ritz Instrument Transformers USA in Waynesboro, Georgia, creating a highly efficient environment tailored to advanced industrial production.
Design Concept Model:
The single-story, 127,000-SF facility features a 40’ clear-height manufacturing floor to support complex assembly and material flow. An 8,000-SF, 70’ clear test tower accommodates specialized high-voltage testing, while a dedicated 7,500-SF Tape Room provides controlled space for critical production activities. The building is also equipped with three 5-ton bridge cranes to facilitate heavy equipment handling throughout the facility.
Design Concept Model:

A 10,000-SF office component supports administrative and employee functions, including executive offices, conference and training rooms, and an employee break area designed to provide a comfortable space for staff to gather and recharge within the industrial setting. Ritz Instrument Transformers USA is a Hamburg, Germany-based manufacturer of high-voltage instrument transformers.
