





POH+W Architects was engaged by the Rohrich Automotive Group to complete a facility upgrade to their existing Mazda South Hills dealership. The existing building was approximately 63,000-SF across three stories, with the renovation encompassing approximately 24,000-SF, including an exterior façade upgrade.
Project challenges included integrating new Mazda Brand Standards within an existing structure composed of two stories of conventional construction topped by a pre-engineered metal third floor, as well as site constraints from property line limitations. Through ongoing collaboration with the Owner and close coordination with the Mazda Brand Architect, POH+W Architects developed design solutions across multiple iterations. The final design achieved the intent of the brand standards through alternative compliance approaches while meeting the Owner’s operational and aesthetic goals.
